It's that time of year where the Halloween stores pop up and then disappear before the pilgrims arrive. Imagine the joy I felt when I happened upon this spooky scene. I went into the store fully expecting the hearse to be a ploy, but no dice.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" I was greeted by dracula, a shaking body bag and then, the store's owner.

"Hi! Can I help you?" a very non-threatening man asked.

"I have to know, is the hearse for real? And, more importantly, is there anybody in there now?"

"It's the real deal. The girl at the front desk drives it. When I learned that, I had to hire her. She's studying to be a mortician. No. I don't think anyone's in there now."

Ironically, a nursing home bus had just parked in front of the Walmart next door.
