If Kaila could read, she would kill me for this post. And, I wouldn't blame her. On the drive home from PA, Mike and I had six plus hours to fill with conversation. That's a lot of talking for an old, married couple. During the trip, Mike asked if I could take care of our daughter's, um, "problem."
Mike: She has a nose hair that sticks out.
Me: She's three years old!
Mike: It's never too early to start.
I have no idea how I'm going to get clippers up Kaila's teeny nose, but god forbid I don't. She could be scarred for life. So far, it hasn't hampered her preschool experience. The kids still hang with her. There's even a boy who thinks she's kind-of cool. But, if I don't act soon, the consequences could be dire. She could be picked last for kickball. Excluded from four square. Lunching alone. Ostracized because her mama wouldn't pluck a piece of lone hair from her toddler nostril.
I'm sure it's my fault. Being Indian, it's possible to grow hair anywhere within two hours. Since Kaila's half Indian, it's more like four. Regardless, I guess I'll take care of it this week. I'm just afraid it's a slippery slope. What next? Eye brow arch? Tummy tuck? Brazilian? Yikes. Cuts 'N' Curls might have to expand its offerings.
