Baggu

In honor of today, I'd like to tell all y'all about one of my favorite eco-friendly things. The Baggu Bag. It's colorful. It's cool. Cashiers love them. Baggers do, too. Everywhere I go, people compliment these perky little purchase holders. I've toted them for awhile now and peeps love 'em. They're made of 100% ripstop nylon and are machine washable. They also come in every color imaginable so manly men can carry them, too. What's not to dig?
If you're still one of those haters* who stuffs everything in plastic, pay attention! According to the folks at Baggu, "Using one Baggu for one year replaces 300 to 700 disposable bags. That helps reduce some of the 100 billion plastic bags sent to a landfill in the US last year." That's a whole lotta bags.
*I don't mean haters as in "hey hater, you are a mean, despicable person." I mean it in more of a light-hearted, ha-ha-I'm-teasing-you-but-stop-using-plastic-bags-dammit kind of way.

We've had Baggus for a couple of years too and LOVE them. I mean, I am obsessed. The colors are wicked cool and they hold a TON of stuff!
Now I just need to get better about CARRYING them when I shop, instead of forgetting them at home.
Did you wait all night for me to post this? ;) I keep six in a pouch that fits in my purse. Or, stash 'em in your glove compartment. But, now that you're Delhi-bound, maybe you'll love Jute bags?
Can I use a Baggu to throw away a poopy diaper? Me thinks that may become expensive. Also don't diapers kind of ruin the whole recylcleable aspect? Maybe I'll start putting Maddie in cloth diapers. NOT!
